Procurement Specialist, Residential Construction
Salary: $55- $70k Base + Bonus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-4:30pm (On Site)

Position Overview:
The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in collaborating with both established and new suppliers and subcontractors to secure the most advantageous pricing. This position involves managing the awarded projects from the point of securing the best pricing through to the issuance of purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and monitor all activities related to vendor and subcontractor pricing.
  • Analyze lumber pricing and track lumber futures on a monthly basis.
  • Communicate necessary updates to the vendor sheet to relevant personnel as required.
  • Generate cost analysis reports and inform management of potential price increases.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency.
  • Report pricing issues to the Chief Operating Officer promptly.
  • Ensure all price increases receive approval from the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with all vendors and subcontractors.
  • Manage all Rental Equipment quotes, including scheduling deliveries and pickups, while providing necessary information to relevant personnel.
  • Input all new model takeoffs into takeoff software and verify their accuracy.
  • Enter management-approved new vendors, items, and other changes into the Eclare system.
  • Prepare Job Start information in Takeoff Software and generate Purchase Orders in Accounting Software.
  • Accurately input preliminary budget costs.
  • Release all vendor purchase orders upon job start completion.
  • Load PO Summary Reports and scopes into Scheduling Software for visibility by Superintendents and Project Managers.
  • Perform Builder trend duties as assigned.
  • Execute other work-related tasks as necessary.
