Key Responsibilities- Verify medical necessity and communicate relevant coverage/eligibility information to patients
- Minimize duplication of medical records by using problem-solving skills to verify patient identity
- Register patients for all services and achieve department-specific goals for accuracy
- Create accurate estimates to maximize up-front cash collections
- Calculate patients' co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance
