Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy EHR infrastructure, including server hardware, operating systems, and application software.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions that improve IT operations and enhance healthcare workflows.
  • Use BPMN 2.0 to map processes and identify opportunities for system optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare security regulations, managing access controls, data protection, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Oversee server environments (both physical and virtual), ensuring system reliability, performance, and security.
  • Lead system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance projects, minimizing system downtime while ensuring continuity of service.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation on systems architecture, processes, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in system administration, with expertise in EHR infrastructure, systems integrations, and network protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of EHR systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic, NextGen) and their infrastructure requirements.
  • Experience with BPMN 2.0 for process mapping and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance, security protocols, and disaster recovery processes in healthcare settings.
  • Expertise in server administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
