Job Title: Mechanical PE

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical PE to join our team at ASEI Engineering, Inc. in Houston, TX.

About the Role:

This is a project design position that will work in partnership with, and under the oversight of a Mechanical PE to oversee quality control, maintain company standards, and develop training protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create complete, permit-ready Mechanical and/or Plumbing Designs in AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
  • Perform site visits and field investigations to verify existing conditions of project sites and to resolve installation issues.
  • Perform construction administration for ongoing projects, including responses to requests for information, client revisions, equipment submittals, and plan review comments.
  • Work directly with clients to determine overall project needs and design considerations.
  • Effectively manage mechanical/plumbing design projects through clear, consistent communication to meet client needs, project schedules, and budget expectations.
  • Build long-term customer relationships with existing and potential clients through world-class customer service.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility by supporting your peers as needed and participating in company-sponsored training and events.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Mechanical P.E. licensed in the state of Texas, or demonstrate the ability to acquire Texas licensing.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as an engineering consultant.
  • Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD and/or Revit (preferred).
  • Excellent working knowledge of mechanical design in the realm of commercial, educational, multi-family, and light industrial projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Self-motivated, reliable individual that thrives on doing a job well.
  • Demonstrate independence, initiative, and desire to achieve results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral and written communications.
  • Passion to provide our clients a world-class experience on every interaction for every project, every time.
  • Experience with MS Office products.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
