Job Description
This is a full-time position responsible for facilitating the financial and administrative functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, experience with Microsoft Office applications, and proficiency in Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Main Responsibilities
* Process daily incoming mail, prepare cash deposits, and verify checks collected
* Facilitate Accounts Payable by setting up vendor masterfiles, processing petty cash requests, and serving as liaison between vendors and staff
* Perform payroll duties twice monthly, including employee masterfile setup, payroll tax payments, and 403(b) invoices and payments
* Maintain benefits administration, including enrolling new employees, deleting departing employees, and managing medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans
* Submit insurance claims, maintain workers' compensation files, and request certificates of insurance
* Support business office team with various projects and perform other duties assigned by the Director of Finance
Requirements and Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and visual health, as well as pension and retirement plans.
