Required Expertise:

  • Top three competencies: Advanced Excel, treasury experience, and self-management.
  • Treasury experience should include debt and swap management, along with a solid understanding of treasury mathematics.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience is necessary; 5+ years is preferred.
  • The hiring manager is specifically not seeking a Data Analyst.
  • Familiarity with debt instruments (such as Bonds and Loans) and derivatives is essential.
  • Strong technical skills in advanced Excel and experience with banking applications are required.
  • Robust analytical and technical capabilities.
  • Disciplined work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and strong research skills are critical.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of debt instruments (including Agency securities, Treasury Bonds, Wholesale Deposits, and Repurchase Agreements) as well as derivatives.
  • Understanding of corporate governance and compliance frameworks (including SOX, internal/external audits, and FDIC regulations).
  • Familiarity with secured credit facilities utilizing pledged assets as collateral (such as FHLB and Discount Window).
  • Experience with Wall Street Suite is highly regarded, though other treasury platform experience is also acceptable.
