Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at Children's National Hospital. The successful candidate will provide clinical services for patients and families, including assessment, consultation, psychological testing, brief psychotherapy, and longer-term therapy, as well as behavioral interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Services: Conduct psychological evaluations, provide psychotherapy, and offer behavioral interventions to patients and families.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Document Services: Accurately document services performed in electronic medical records systems.
- Collect Data: Gather data as needed for program evaluation and grant reporting.
- Education: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or PsyD in an accredited program, or completion of all doctoral requirements within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in clinical psychology, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Skills: Training in evidenced-based psychological interventions, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Licenses and Certifications: Registration with the District of Columbia for supervision by a licensed psychologist, and eligibility for licensure in the District of Columbia.
- Customer Service: Provide caregiver guidance and psychotherapy to youth and their families, complete psychological evaluations, and consult with family members, educational advocates, and schools as needed.
- Teamwork/Communication: Contribute to multidisciplinary teams, document services, collect data, and participate in grant reporting requirements.
- Problem Solving: Work with teams to ensure compliance with grant expectations and requirements.
- Organizational Accountabilities: Partner in the mission and uphold the core principles of the organization, demonstrate personal and professional integrity, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate collaborative and respectful behavior.
