Job Title: Senior Information Systems Security Officer

Cyber Defense Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Systems Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and assistance to secure configuration and operations of our IT assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical security guidance and support to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our IT systems and data.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and ensure secure coding practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure our security posture remains effective.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in information systems security, with a focus on technical security guidance and support.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of network security principles, practices, and implementations.
  • Working knowledge of cross-functional integration of information systems into a physical security environment.
  • Experience with configuration management, system maintenance, and integration testing.
  • Proficient in the use of tools used to prevent and/or negate malicious code.
