At ManTech, we're committed to protecting our nation's security while fostering a culture of innovation and advancement. As a Senior Information Systems Security Officer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain security configurations, practices, and procedures for information systems
  • Provide liaison support between system owners and security personnel
  • Ensure security controls are implemented and operating as intended throughout the information system lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain system security documentation
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and develop plans of action and milestones in response to reported security vulnerabilities
  • Manage risks to information systems and other assets by coordinating correction or mitigation actions
  • Monitor security controls to maintain authorized to operate status
  • Upload security control evidence to the Governance, Risk, and Compliance application
  • Ensure changes to information systems, their environments, or operational needs that may affect authorization status are reported to system owners and security managers
  • Ensure the removal and retirement of decommissioned information systems
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as an Information Systems Security Officer at a cleared facility
  • Experience in a computer science or cybersecurity-related field
  • Hold at least one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Security Professional (GISP), or the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
  • Familiarity with security tools, including Tenable Nessus and/or Security Center, IBM Guardium, HP Weblnspect, Network Mapper (NMAP), and/or similar applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or other cyber discipline
Clearance Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Program may require CI Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
