Position Overview:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for conducting in vivo nuclear medicine procedures utilizing tagged radionuclides.
Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications as directed by physician orders, under the supervision of an authorized radiologist in the Imaging Department.
Performs necessary quality control and assurance protocols as mandated by regulatory standards. Ensures accurate data entry within the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS).Qualifications:
- Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or CNMT certification.
- Advanced Registration in PET is optional.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist; clinical rotations in an accredited medical imaging program may be considered.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time, Day Shift with On Call responsibilities. No weekend shifts.
