About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Sales Representative specializing in supplemental insurance. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our company, while making a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business to business cold calling to meet with potential clients and educate them on the benefits of supplemental insurance offerings.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing their insurance needs.
  • Updating reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals.
  • Tailoring risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer's individual needs.
  • Staying abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients.
  • Implementing marketing strategies, including cold calling and networking, to connect with potential clients while maintaining a portfolio of current clients.
  • Conducting meetings with new and potential clients, carefully listening to their individual circumstances to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, are required.
  • Must be a superb communicator, able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial.
  • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
