Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Civil Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and industry standards. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders to discuss project progress, address concerns, and provide updates.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to project stakeholders, including inspection reports, quality control reports, and project status updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction inspection, quality control, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • APWA CPII and CPESC certification.
  • Knowledge of WSDOT Standard Specifications and experience working with Materials Section of the WSDOT Construction Manual.
  • Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
