Key Responsibilities- Support Site Civil Design as part of a multi-disciplined design team performing site designs for facility improvement/development projects.
- Oversee/prepare construction documents (plans and specifications) for site improvements including erosion control, grading, site layout and surfacing, drainage, utilities, and permitting documents.
- Perform project tasks and provide technical guidance to project team members.
- Support the technical aspect of scope, schedule, and budget, including proposal development, work breakdown structure development and implementation, progress assessment, risk assessment/mitigation, change management, and schedule management.
- Coordinate and/or perform quality checks and reviews for project deliverables.
- Perform quality checks and/or reviews of projects from other teams on an as needed basis.
- Mentor and train more junior engineers.
- Work with senior engineers and technical leaders to identify and develop specific technical expertise and attend training and seminars focused on further development and understanding of concepts related to their discipline.
We're looking for someone with:
- 7+ years of experience in site design, and creation of plans specification and engineers estimates.
- Bid document development and construction support for public sector clients.
- Experience collaborating with architects, landscape architects, other engineering disciplines and permit reviewers/jurisdictions.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Washington State and local stormwater, industry rules and regulations.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, and MGSFlood or WWHM.
- Experience developing drainage reports.
- Experienced in following QA/QC procedures, include backchecking and redlining work.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Washington State Professional Engineer license.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, collaborating with teams in different locations.

The expected compensation range for this position for employees based in the Seattle area is $97,500-$133,000 annually and is dependent upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
