Job Summary

This role is responsible for conducting operational IT internal audits across infrastructure, applications, and processes, with significant exposure to various company areas and management teams. The successful candidate will work independently on unique projects, identifying process gaps and communicating recommendations to company leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the company's efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Execute planning, fieldwork, and reporting for operational IT audits in accordance with department standards to validate compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Develop and execute IT audit plans, document testing procedures, and prepare audit observations
  • Provide project oversight and expertise to team members, applying IT principles and identifying automated and IT general controls
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing ideas and opinions
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships within internal audit and throughout the company to serve as a trusted advisor
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant and evolving IT risk areas
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Knowledge of internal audit methodologies, internal controls, and root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of IT audit methodologies and control frameworks of IT platforms, processes, systems, and controls
  • Ability to analyze automated processes, including related IT general controls
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and processes that require in-depth evaluation of various factors
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest degree of professional standards
  • Ability to work independently to execute and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner
  • Ability to interact positively and communicate with all levels of management, internal and external auditors, and outside contacts
  • Ability to use software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio)
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • Internal or external IT auditing experience of 4+ years
  • Preferred qualifications include operational IT audit experience, experience with various technologies, and knowledge of database design and programming languages
