Key Holders play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service, achieving sales targets, and upholding merchandising standards in a dynamic retail environment. They report directly to the Store Team Leader and collaborate with other management members.

Key Holders are tasked with providing customers with a distinctive shopping experience by employing the G.U.E.S.T. service approach. They are responsible for all Sales Associate duties, which include continuous coaching to enhance sales and service, processing customer returns and exchanges, supervising the sales floor, and executing store opening and closing procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a TPS Champion by exemplifying the G.U.E.S.T. service approach and consistently delivering outstanding service.
  • Welcome every customer warmly and enthusiastically.
  • Identify customer needs through open-ended inquiries.
  • Communicate product features and benefits relevant to customer needs with comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Recommend additional items to enhance sales through effective selling techniques.
  • Express sincere gratitude to customers and invite them to return.
  • Act as a TPS Brand Ambassador.
  • Foster customer loyalty by being friendly, attentive, and respectful.
  • Motivate and inspire the team daily by providing positive feedback and utilizing TPS recognition programs.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace by modeling ethical behavior, encouraging open communication, and maintaining confidentiality as required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in attire and demeanor, adhering to the company dress code.
  • Support all sales initiatives across various business channels to maximize company sales.
  • Accurately capture customer information at the POS.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and apply them correctly at the Point of Sale.
  • Exhibit sound judgment in decision-making for the benefit of customers, the store team, and the business.
  • Continuously train and coach associates on GUEST service behaviors and assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to engage in training and development using available resources.
  • Prepare incoming products for the sales floor by following supervisor instructions.
  • Merchandise products according to company visual guidelines and standards.
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of relevant computer systems and programs.
  • Uphold store cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • After thorough training, perform ear piercings and ensure a safe, sanitary experience in compliance with guidelines (select locations).
  • Execute management functions as required, including store opening and closing, supervising the sales floor, and coordinating breaks.
  • Assist with all other related tasks as directed within the assigned timeframe.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred previous experience in specialty retail and leadership roles.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask while remaining attentive to customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Ability to thrive as a leader in a team environment.
  • Capacity to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Able to lift and move medium to large items up to 50 lbs., using appropriate safety techniques.
