We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team at TravelNurseSource. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on the patient's immediate condition or needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as established by the individualized plan of care.
- Provide individualized patient and family education customized to the patient's and family's needs.
- Document patient assessment findings, physical and psychosocial responses to nursing intervention, and progress towards problem resolution.
- Initiate emergency resuscitative measures according to adult resuscitation protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality in matters related to patient, family, and client facility staff.
- Provide care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the patient's and family's diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity, and rights.
- Report patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift.
- Maintain current competency in adult medical-surgical nursing.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current licensure in good standing.
- Evidence of minimum one year recent MS experience in hospital.
