We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
