About the Role

Johnson Controls International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our Area Delivery team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the capacity and staffing of the team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Manage the profitable execution of the Area project portfolio, ensuring that all projects are completed accurately, on-time, and within budget.
  • Team Management: Establish the Area SI Delivery Team plan for staffing levels, hire, retain, and performance manage team members, and plan for their career development.
  • Business Development: Establish customer touch points throughout the life cycle of projects to gain feedback on customer satisfaction, and coach teams on proactively addressing customer feedback.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and deliver clear performance expectations, performance reviews, and development plans for direct reports, and ensure compliance with state, local, and federal legal requirements.
  • Safety and Security: Champion and drive the BSNA Safety Program for employees and subcontractors at all levels within the Area organization and subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Ten or more years of progressively more responsible operations management experience in the Construction Industry, including five or more years of direct management experience.
  • Skills: High-level competence in written and verbal communication, strong presentation skills, and proficiency in software scheduling tools and applications.
