Job Overview
Hay Creek Hotels is seeking a dedicated, organized, and proactive Talent Acquisition and Management Specialist to enhance our team of professionals. This is a part-time, year-round management role that reports to the local General Manager while also collaborating with the Corporate Vice President of Human Resources and the Vice President of Accounting.

Hay Creek Hotels operates a beautifully restored inn that provides a unique experience with guest accommodations, a contemporary restaurant, and versatile meeting spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and maintain accurate documentation for all employee records, including management of paid time off, disciplinary actions, wage policies, and onboarding paperwork.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Human Resources Director to manage employee benefits and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist various departments with staffing and recruitment efforts, including job postings, recruitment events, candidate selection, and training for new hires.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure fair and consistent performance evaluations and participate in employee counseling and terminations.
  • Manage and report on guest incidents and workers' compensation claims, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and training requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate quarterly meetings and employee recognition events.
  • Handle all cash transactions and manage the responsibilities of the General Cashier, including audits and daily deposits.
  • Process petty cash requests and reimbursements for employees.
  • Act as the Income Auditor, reviewing daily reports for accuracy and ensuring proper revenue posting.
  • Address credit card chargeback requests and collaborate with management to resolve billing inquiries.
  • Monitor year-end accounting, payroll, and HR assignments, ensuring timely delivery of reports to accounting resources.
  • Administer payroll processing and maintain the time clock system, ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
