About the Role

The Director of Treasury Management plays a pivotal role in driving the strategy, production, and operations of the Treasury Management Department at FIRST FED. This leadership position is responsible for guiding a team of Treasury Management Officers and support staff to achieve treasury management fee income growth and core deposit expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster new business relationships and nurture existing customer connections across various markets.
  • Collaborate with Senior Directors of Commercial and Community Banking to maximize relationships through cross-selling Treasury products and services with customers.
  • Develop and execute the Treasury Management vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with bank objectives.
  • Formulate product and market strategies in conjunction with Commercial and Community Bank departments and senior leadership.
  • Recommend initiatives to enhance the department's offerings and maintain a comprehensive suite of products and services.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to develop and motivate team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Recruit and retain high-quality department employees to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Establish and manage the annual department budget, assigning goals to Treasury Management Officers to meet or exceed revenue targets and performance standards.
  • Analyze and evaluate team progress toward budgeted metrics.
