Position Summary

This role involves managing workstation and end-user challenges, including the installation of software applications and the configuration/movement of hardware. Key responsibilities include configuring, implementing, maintaining, and supporting software applications in collaboration with internal IT personnel and external consultants. The position is based in the Dallas office, with potential travel requirements. You will report directly to the Managing Director of IT.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with SOCOTEC US personnel to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  2. Assist in the deployment of Intune Endpoint for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
  3. Collaborate closely with SOCOTEC US staff to ensure they have the necessary tools to access data and technical resources for project completion.
  4. Manage a Help Desk ticketing system, including escalation, assistance, and resolution of tickets as required.
  5. Participate in weekly Help Desk meetings.
Core Competencies:
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Networking, and Virtualization.
  • Basic knowledge of hybrid cloud services (Azure, AWS, VMware).
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas in the development of tasks.
  • Development: Eagerness to learn and capability to mentor others.
  • Team Collaboration: Thrives in a cooperative team environment.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. A strong working knowledge of Windows, Networking, and end-user support is essential. Candidates must provide three technical references. A background check is mandatory. This position is open to US citizens only.
