Position Summary:
The Healthcare Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing daily operational tasks within the medical facility, specifically in the billing department, reception, and allied health services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, appointment scheduling, patient account management, billing and coding processes, record maintenance, credentialing, and human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, addressing inquiries and assisting with appointment check-ins.
  • Efficiently utilize electronic scheduling systems to coordinate patient appointments and send reminders.
  • Verify financial documentation and collect patient payments while facilitating third-party claims processing.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to manage daily financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient scheduling and provider availability.
  • Maintain accurate patient records by confirming personal and billing information during each visit.
  • Oversee office supplies and equipment, conducting regular inventory checks and placing orders as necessary.
  • Engage in office meetings and discussions aimed at enhancing operational procedures and staying updated on policy changes.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness drills and training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
