**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Nursing Specialist to join our team at Business Tree. As a Nursing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

**Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans

- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient preferences, medical history, and current health status

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care

- Participate in shift reports and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth handovers

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant policies and procedures

- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety

**Requirements:**

* A.S in Nursing

* Current Nursing License

* Minimum 2 year experience in inpatient general hospital or mental health setting preferred

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

* Ability to multitask in a high functioning/fast paced environment

* CPR certification

* Successful completion of Handle with Care (HWC) training, including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint, prior to assisting in a restraining procedure

* Pass a medication administration exam prior to administering any medications and complete a basic age specific competency exam and age specific training within 30 days of employment
