Key Responsibilities- Instructional Leadership: Develop and implement effective instructional training programs that meet the needs of local industry and prepare students for success in the workplace.
- Curriculum Development: Create and update classroom syllabi, curriculum, lab experiences, and lesson plans that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Student Engagement: Design and deliver engaging learning experiences that retain student interest and promote skill development, with a focus on hands-on learning and real-world applications.
- Program Management: Ensure the program meets all state and federal requirements, including accreditation standards, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Faculty Support: Supervise, recruit, train, and support adjunct instructors as needed to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with department directors, admissions, and recruiters to fill cohorts with students who are capable of graduating and finding employment in the field.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and best practices, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional skills and knowledge.
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in the EMS industry, with a strong background in instruction and program management.
- Certifications and Licenses: Utah licensed as an EMR, EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic, and certified as an EMS Instructor and Course Coordinator.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in education and instructional design.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Google Suite and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and colleagues.
