About the Role

As a Billing Support Specialist at Notion, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by addressing billing and payment-related escalations, conducting thorough inquiries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues. You will work closely with finance, regional support teams, user operations, and enablement teams to enhance operational workflows and contribute to the product feedback loop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, accurate billing and payment support through various channels, including email, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payment discrepancies, processing errors, and technical issues by diagnosing root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and improve the payment processing experience.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in payment workflows and work with internal teams to enhance systems.
  • Maintain and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide ad-hoc reporting as necessary.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical topics into clear, non-technical language.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support or customer service, preferably within SaaS or fintech.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and solving complex issues, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
