The Financial Compliance Specialist will be primarily responsible for timely and accurately processing all incoming tax correspondence, managing property tax invoices, and providing overall support for the tax team.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive, identify, and sort all incoming tax mail
- Monitor, track receipt, prepare payment, and store notices and property tax bills
- Maintain electronic filing systems in alignment with company policies and procedures
- E-file sales and use returns, ensuring all filings are done on a timely basis
- Generate tax-related forms, such as W-9 and exemptions certificate requests
- Maintain customer tax exemption records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Degree or Certificate in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter with both independent and team collaboration capabilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Must be flexible and accountable when there are approaching deadlines

- Do you have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role?
