Job Title: Bank Reconciliation Specialist

Armstrong Receivable Management is seeking a highly skilled Bank Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. As a Bank Reconciliation Specialist, you will be responsible for examining the company's accounting records, reviewing them with banking documentation, and reporting any discrepancies in the reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all bank transactions, including deposits, payments, and wire transfers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all reconciliations, adjustments, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance teams to resolve outstanding issues and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Support audits and provide documentation as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in bank reconciliation or a similar accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $40,000 - $45,000 per year (DOE)
