Position Overview:
Role: Behavior Support Specialist
Location: School District setting

As a Behavior Support Specialist, you will have the chance to provide individualized support or assist in classrooms across different educational levels, including:

  • Elementary Education
  • Middle School Education
  • High School Education

Your specific assignment will be based on the district's needs and your qualifications.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and empowering students to achieve their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement services aligned with IEP objectives
  • Collaborate with case supervisors or assigned BCBAs to ensure best practices in service delivery
  • Execute behavior support strategies as outlined by your Case Manager or BCBA
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation of client progress through data collection and clinical notes
  • Provide educational support to parents as directed by your Case Manager or BCBA
  • Communicate effectively with your Case Manager or BCBA
  • Assist with personal care procedures as needed
  • Embody the company culture and uphold the core values of Ensemble Therapy
  • Foster a positive and enjoyable work environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children with Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Severe disabilities or relevant experience in a classroom setting
  • Current knowledge of treatment methodologies and a commitment to ongoing learning about new practices that may benefit our clients
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong collaborative, team-oriented, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with technology
