Job Overview

Butterfly Effects is seeking a passionate and caring Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children with autism, helping them develop essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and self-care.

We are committed to making a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families affected by autism. Our treatment approach involves working directly with the child and the family in their natural environment, teaching them how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills.

As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing one-on-one support to children with autism in their natural environment
  • Developing and implementing behavior intervention plans to help children develop essential skills
  • Working collaboratively with families to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
  • Providing training and support to families on how to implement behavior intervention plans

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience, education, and certifications
  • Part-time flexibility: 12-20 hours per week, providing an ideal work-life balance
  • In-home services only

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for working with children
  • Continuous learning: interest in ongoing development
  • Driver's license: possession of a valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Positive attitude: strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families
  • Experience: prior experience with children is advantageous
