Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Great Wolf Resorts. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food operations, including menu development, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste
  • Supervise and train a team of chefs and cooks to ensure excellent food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques to ensure our menus remain competitive and appealing to our guests
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a restaurant kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • High school degree or equivalent required; culinary education degree preferred
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, inventory management, and staff supervision
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
