We are in search of a committed Quality Assurance Specialist to perform remote evaluations of photovoltaic (PV) installations, ensuring they align with our standards and comply with relevant Building and Electrical Codes. The Quality Assurance Specialist will conduct a thorough technical review of installation methods and adherence to regulations. Additionally, this role will involve verifying that all submitted documentation is complete and suitable for processing. Collaboration with Channel Operations will be essential to address any issues or trends that may impact asset quality, ensuring that our clients and partners receive exceptional service and that workflows are executed efficiently.

While this position offers remote work flexibility, we have a strong preference for candidates situated in regions where we operate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform technical evaluations of installations carried out by Channel Partners to confirm compliance with PosiGen's standards and applicable codes.
  • Engage with internal teams and partners to facilitate communication.
  • Verify that designs adhere to PosiGen's standards, including the use of pre-approved equipment.
  • Assess and validate system performance, including recreating designs for auditing purposes.
  • Ensure all pre-installation criteria are satisfied before approving project milestones.
  • Confirm that any additional documentation for incentive markets is accurately completed and submitted.
  • Ensure all necessary installation photographs and documents are uploaded to the CRM system.
  • Update project statuses in the CRM to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Ensure daily tasks are completed within the established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Create monitoring accounts in inverter platforms.
  • Review and authorize field modifications, ensuring that change requests are processed by the partner.
  • Analyze quality issues and report data on compliance violations.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions focused on best practices.
  • Engage in team meetings and collaborative platforms.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions, including attendance and communication.
  • Communicate needs and updates to your direct supervisor.

Qualifications

  • A High School diploma or Trade School certification in a field related to construction, engineering, or architecture is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the solar industry, with a focus on quality control and assurance processes.
  • Experience in construction or building sciences; photovoltaic installation experience is advantageous.
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
