About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and integrate diagnostic imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging protocols and patient care
  • Provide education and training to radiology and medical physics residents on diagnostic imaging and radiation safety
  • Contribute to clinical research initiatives related to radiation dose optimization and image quality improvement
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Medical Physics, Physics, or a related discipline
  • American Board of Radiology certification in Diagnostic Radiological and Nuclear Medicine Physics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging and radiation safety
  • Eligibility to secure an Ohio Certified Radiation Expert certificate
