Clinical Medical Physicist Opportunity

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Medical Physicist to join our team in Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating, integrating, and ensuring the safe use of diagnostic imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and integrate diagnostic imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging protocols and patient care
  • Provide education and training to radiology and medical physics residents on diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine principles
  • Participate in clinical research related to radiation dose optimization and image quality improvement

Requirements:

  • American Board of Radiology Certification in Diagnostic Radiological and Nuclear Medicine Physics
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Medical Physics, Physics, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine
  • Eligibility to secure an Ohio Certified Radiation Expert certificate
