Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of radionuclides in patient imaging procedures. Under the supervision of the Radiologist, this professional is responsible for monitoring radiation safety standards and directly overseeing the storage and care of all radionuclides used in the department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all Nuclear Medicine procedures at the facility, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain radiation safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for patients and staff.
- Directly responsible for the storage and care of all radionuclides used in patient imaging, adhering to strict handling and disposal procedures.
- Exhibit expertise in patient care, tailoring services to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Utilize good public relations and decision-making skills to educate patients and incorporate professionalism into daily interactions.
