Education / Training: - Certified/Licensed Industrial Maintenance Mechanic; - Basic computer skills; - OSHA 10 hours certified; - Mechanic and technical aptitude; - Work from blueprints and technical drawings; - Read precision instruments and gauges; - Capable use of hand and power tools, including pneumatic tools, cutting torches, and welding machines; - Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment; - PLC experience. Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic II City: Bridgeport Key Job Elements: - Core competencies are: o Mechanical; o Electrical; o Hydraulics; o Pneumatics; o Welding/Cutting; o Service/Repair of equipment; - Knowledge of LOTO and SDS is required; - Maintain equipment according to Preventative Maintenance program; - Repair emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and machinery minimizing downtime; - Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, replace or repair parts to mechanical, electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic components; - Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures; - Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products; - Read blueprints, technical drawings, measuring devices; - Read and understand work order and record repairs correctly; - Understand service and repair manuals and apply constraints to repairs and modifications being performed; - Use oxy/fuel torch, arc welding equipment, and power tools; - Performs inspection of completed maintenance and documents results; - Completes and maintains paperwork for maintenance performed; - Assists in other work areas as needed and directed by the department supervisor; - Operate Forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as necessary; - Comply with all plant safety and environmental regulations and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment; - Read and follow QWI and other work instructions necessary to properly assembly product. Qualifications and Experience: - Specific site qualifications and progression may apply, consult with local team; - Skill Level II - 1-2 years of experience. Certified/Licensed in Industrial Maintenance and/or experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
