The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. As a key member of the Great Hire HR Solutions team, the Design Engineer will support the sales team, operations team, and serve as a technical consultant to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop A/V systems that meet customer-specific needs and requirements.
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
- Perform thorough validation of equipment choices and systems conception before submitting bids to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical degree.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- CAD experience is a plus, and proficiency in industry-standard software is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Certification in Technical Systems Design (CTS-D) is preferred, but not required.
