Job Summary

ScionHealth - Kindred Cornerstone & Solara Hospitals is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Monitor Technician. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for monitoring heart rhythm patterns of patients to detect abnormal variances using telemetry equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor telemetry of patients by observing telemetry monitors for changes in cardiac rhythms.
  • Remove and clean telemetry boxes when patients are discharged from telemetry.
  • Maintain accurate records of telemetry patients.
  • Immediately notify RN or supervisor of rhythm changes.
  • Assign transmitters and wires and set up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.
  • Troubleshoot transmitters and wires and set up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • EKG certification preferred.
  • No prior experience required.
