Role Summary

We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative who will be an integral part of our administrative call center team. This role involves managing incoming calls from patients, insurance providers, referral agencies, medical professionals, and other stakeholders. The representative will report to the Call Center Manager and is expected to deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all patients and agency clients through a multi-queue digital telephone system.
  • Utilize the agency's ATHENA System and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to access patient information, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with various patient inquiries.
  • Verify patient information, including demographics and insurance details, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including working on Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred experience includes at least one year in a customer service or call center role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
  • Experience with commercial phone systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems.
  • Effective communication skills with patients, clients, and colleagues.
  • Capability to manage stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
