General Job Duties for All Store Team Members

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all equipment, including dishwashers and ovens, to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers to maintain inventory levels.
  • Prepare food products according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Clean equipment and facilities daily to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with dining room service, including readying customer orders and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Training and Development:

We provide comprehensive training and development opportunities to ensure our team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles. Our training program includes orientation, on-the-job training, and ongoing coaching and feedback.

Communication Skills:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be required to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to process orders, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions and Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Prepare food items as requested.
  • Set up and run the dishwashing operation, keeping the dishwasher clean and free of debris.
  • Maintain all necessary temperature, sanitation equipment, and cleaning logs.
  • Ensure hand sink is clean and stocked, e.g., replace paper towel, hand-soap.

Work Conditions:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be exposed to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. You will also be exposed to in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Additionally, you may be exposed to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500 degrees or higher.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
  • Walking: For short distances for short durations.
  • Sitting: Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
  • Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck.
  • Carrying: Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves.
  • Pushing: To move trays which are placed on dollies.
  • Climbing: Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
  • Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station.
  • Crouching/Squatting: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
  • Reaching: Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward.
  • Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day.
