Regional Field Canvassing Trainer

Leaf Home is seeking a skilled Regional Field Canvassing Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our canvassing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement coaching and training plans that align with regional and corporate goals.
  • Ensure canvassing teams meet or exceed established sales and quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales Managers to provide in-field training and development support.
  • Identify individual development opportunities for canvassing team members, provide feedback, and recommend improvements to Sales and Operations Managers.
  • Conduct in-person group training sessions with canvassing teams on identified training needs.
  • Provide focused training on new technology platforms to improve efficiency, data integrity, and compliance.
  • Conduct field training with new and experienced canvassing team members for quality assurance and training purposes.
  • Travel throughout assigned regions to support training and development efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in direct sales, door-to-door sales, outside sales, retail &/or event marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in training, coaching, and supervisory roles.
  • Ability to translate training documentation into practical applications.
  • Experience managing conflict resolution and motivating others to perform at a high level.
  • Ability to frequently travel within assigned regions.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and shift attention to meet stakeholder demands.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment.
  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in achieving goals.
  • Detail-oriented and able to focus on tasks by finding efficient pathways to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize arguments, find inconsistencies, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the direct-to-consumer home services industry.
Work Environment:

This role requires frequent travel within assigned regions and may involve working in various environments, including office settings and outdoor locations.
