Job Summary

Mercy Medical Center seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join its Intermediate Care Unit as a Nurse Care Coordinator. This critical role requires a professional with experience in creating and managing nursing care plans, evaluating current and future medical needs of patients, and working effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

About the Role:

  • Create and manage comprehensive nursing care plans that cater to the diverse needs of adult patients experiencing severe but non-life-threatening issues.
  • Participate in patient evaluations to identify current and future medical requirements, ensuring timely interventions and effective care delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, BSN graduate preferred.
  • Curent licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous cardiac monitoring/telemetry experience, acute care, and medical-surgical backgrounds highly valued.

  • A competitive salary estimated around $85,000-$115,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
  • Full-time employment with a 36-hour workweek, featuring 12-hour night shifts.
