Position: HVAC Engineer

Overview: We are currently seeking an HVAC Engineer to join our team in Arlington, VA. This role is governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Local 99. Work hours are scheduled from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular assessments and ongoing evaluations of building systems operations.
  • Execute tests, inspections, and data analysis to ensure optimal performance of building machinery.
  • Carry out minor repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery, both inside and outside the facility.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession or ability to obtain a current CFC Universal License.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience as a Building Engineer in a commercial setting.
  • Experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS).
  • Availability to work any assigned shift.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Commitment to safety practices.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in work approach.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position involves significant walking, bending, kneeling, and working in various physical positions.
