POSITION OBJECTIVEThe primary goal of this position is to maintain cleanliness and order in guest rooms according to established quality standards, ensuring a sufficient number of available and pristine rooms to enhance guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Thoroughly clean and reset guest bedrooms and bathrooms in line with established standards and self-inspection protocols.
- Organize and stock cleaning carts and linen closets on assigned floors.
- Complete any assigned paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Report damages and discrepancies to the Housekeeping office and Supervisor.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to comply with health regulations.
- Assist colleagues in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age.
The physical demands of this role include regular standing, walking, using hands for various tasks, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
WORK ENVIRONMENTThis role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, interact with others, manage customer relations, and accept constructive feedback from supervisors. Adaptability to frequent changes in activity and the ability to handle interruptions are crucial.
