We process and prepare scrap metals from all over the state, with a heavy focus in the Fairbanks North Star Borough and the North Slope Borough. We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Description:
- Prepare and examine financial records
- Compute and record numerical data
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform high volume data entry and administrative duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to understand double entry accounting
- Strong organizational skills
- High accuracy with working in fast-paced environment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Fundamental knowledge in Excel and Word
- Fundamental knowledge in Peach Tree or Sage accounting software
- Ten-key efficiency
- Excellent in verbal and written communication skills
- 3 years experience with accounts payable
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 8 hours of work per day, Monday through Friday.
