Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Leader to join our team. As the Climbing Lead, you will be responsible for driving the engagement, training, and educational programs for customers and teammates in all aspects of climbing. You will also oversee the daily operations of the climb department, direct the workflow, and ensure Company standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor climbing activities and provide assistance to climbers
  • Direct the workflow and oversee the daily operations of the climb department
  • Drive results, ensure Company standards, and assist in other operations as needed
  • Uphold Company standards for merchandise presentation and showcase the best apparel and equipment brands in sporting goods
  • Assist the store management team with general supervision in the store, including opening and closing the store, performing Front End and Cash Office functions
  • Identify and correct any safety concerns with the rock wall and climbing equipment
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and ensuring compliance of safety-related standard operating procedures
  • Ensure the safety and security of teammates, customers, and property per local regulations
  • Assist with training associates on Company procedures and programs
