Position Overview:

We are in search of a Retail Technology Advisor who is eager to advance their career within our organization. This role presents an opportunity to foster and manage relationships with our retail partners throughout the designated region.


Key Responsibilities:


The selected candidate will:

  • Develop and maintain Retail Technology relationships with retailers, crafting tailored technology implementation strategies in collaboration with the Regional Retail Technology Director and other relevant departments.
  • Work under the guidance of the Regional Retail Technology Manager, while also collaborating with fellow Retail Technology Advisors and external partners.
  • Exhibit strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, effectively engaging with a diverse range of individuals, both in-person and remotely.
  • Demonstrate project management skills and stay informed about industry standards, key technology strategies, and product offerings.
  • Possess both technical and mechanical skills to manage various aspects of the role, including the installation and support of networking hardware and software.
  • Bring experience in retail or applied technology, or be a recent graduate from a technical program eager to learn and grow.


This position allows for remote work flexibility, with travel required to various customer locations. Reliable transportation is essential.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A two-year technical degree, college degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in similar roles is preferred.
  • The ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business cases for various retail partners.
  • Attention to detail and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A self-motivated attitude, punctuality, and the ability to manage a potentially complex schedule.
  • A mechanical aptitude and a solid foundation in applied technology, with a willingness to adapt and learn new tools and skills swiftly.
