Position Summary

The Warehouse Operations Associate is responsible for a range of warehouse activities, including the receipt and documentation of customer samples, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and document customer samples accurately.
  • Prepare and stage customer orders for dispatch.
  • Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Manage inventory movements utilizing the inventory control system.
  • Fulfill material requisition requests.
  • Adhere to FIFO principles for all perishable products.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, promptly reporting any incidents to a supervisor.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); or relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Basic proficiency in computer and software applications.

Preferred

  • Experience with inventory management software and systems.
Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with colleagues and other departments.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Use of pallet jacks or drum dollies for heavier loads.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of materials.
  • Repetitive motions associated with computer use.
