About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commissioning Professional to join our team at Performance Validation, Inc. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients to develop project scope and requirements.
  • Develop commissioning specifications and review system designs and submittals.
  • Develop commissioning plans, including functional performance test scripts.
  • Conduct commissioning coordination meetings and verify proper system installation and performance.
  • Track issues to resolution and document all commissioning-related activities.
Requirements
  • BS degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 8-10 years of commissioning, building design/construction, or facilities management experience with an emphasis on HVAC and control systems.
  • Commissioning certification required (Building Commissioning Certification Board or ASHRAE) or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
  • PE is desirable.
  • LEED accreditation is desirable.
  • Prior experience with commercial energy audits and/or energy modeling is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven project management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of control theory and building automation systems.
  • Familiarity with USGBC LEED and sustainability.
