Job Overview

Komatsu America is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our HR Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing foundation-level skills in payroll administration and HR operations, with future career advancement opportunities available within each key area of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm data changes via automated process for employee changes such as new hires, terminations, & pay changes.
• Computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions and processing terminations.
• Update employees' taxes, direct deposit, and other miscellaneous payroll entries using payroll system, UKG.
• Processing weekly, bi-weekly and/or monthly payrolls for assigned employee groups, Analysis of payroll data to ensure error free processing.
• Payroll support on garnishments and levies.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High-school diploma (or equivalent) required, Associates level degree preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in Human Resources or Finance (preferred).
• Must possess strong Customer service and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal instructions and ability to perform basic arithmetic and payroll calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment, manage high volume, repetitive daily tasks.
