Your Role in Making a Difference:

The Nursing Assistant operates under the guidance of the Director of Nursing (DON) and collaborates with the nursing management team to ensure the prompt execution of various support tasks. These responsibilities include managing consents, authorizations, and appointment scheduling, compiling incident reports, tracking daily nursing duties, conducting audits, and reviewing medical records. The role also entails assisting with data entry, overseeing nursing supplies, maintaining departmental organization, and adhering to agency policies, Title IX, CARF, and employee handbook guidelines while ensuring compliance with federal regulations regarding client confidentiality.

Core Responsibilities:

Monitors and documents client progress in accordance with treatment plans.
Ensures the safety and security of the treatment environment, taking proactive measures to protect clients.
Maintains accurate and comprehensive records of client care, ensuring timely and precise documentation of daily and weekly client progress.
Assists in upholding compliance with clinical record-keeping and documentation standards.
Supports regulatory compliance, addresses deviations from established documentation and care standards, and assists with admissions and discharges.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Completion of a nursing program (PT, PN, VN) or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Experience

  • Four (4) years of experience in a healthcare setting, including a minimum of two (2) years as a C.N.A. or C.M.A.
